Social Justice

Practically demonstrating the love of God.

We partner with local and global charities to live out Isaiah 1:17. ā€œDo good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and plead the widow’s causeā€

We believe that showing compassion and love to our neighbours is the call on every Christian’s life, not just a specialist few. We look to support church members in a number of different ways to live out Jesus’ instruction to be good news to the poor (Luke 4:18-19). We currently promote and support the following charities as part of our shared mission.

Safe Families work with authorities and local churches to offer hope, belonging and support to children, families and care leavers. If you want to help with a lack of connection and loneliness in our city, then this is the charity to get involved with. You could help by befriending a family, hosting children, or offering your skills or resources.
