We have a vision to be a church like the one in Antioch, described in the book of Acts (Acts 11-13). This was a diverse church, marked by the grace of God, who sent people out on God’s mission.

Our own journey began in 2015, after a long season of prayer & fasting.  A small group of 15, led by Steve & Julia Morrison, felt called by God to move from Grace Church Nottingham to plant a new church for the city of Birmingham.

Now, as a church of over 200 people, we believe God has called us to be Good News for our city. We too want to see people saved, discipled and sent on Jesus’ mission!

In Sept 2025 we are planting ‘Light Church Leicester’ led by Andy and Becky Farrer. Our heart is to plant churches in other cities and even the nations beyond.
